The Shed on the North Shore

The Shed on the north shore is located in Auckland's Stanley bay next to the naval base. I first visited here 4 years ago and was inspired by it's brilliantly coloured steal corrigated structure. Now 4 years later looking at the painting, what strikes me is the vividness of the light and the idea of what lies beyond this holding space.

I recently finished this piece and it is now hanging in the lobby area of the former government buildings on Sullivans quay.  The body of work consists of 70 hand made panels  20 cm x 20 cm.
Each panel is treated individually and no two have the same series of processes. There are also digital drawings available from my etsy store.
