Achill with RSJ's
On Achill there is evidence of the ‘boom times’ primarily in the form of abandoned building projects. These stand as a reminder of what it means to progress without thoughtfulness. For me these metal beams in Keel stood imposingly rigid against the dominating beauty of the surroundings. They don't belong here and I can't see them lasting. It was a good opportunity to paint them before they disappear and I hope they do.
